Aerator for live bait

If you fish with live bait and minnows, then you now that they are not exactly cheap. Also, you have learned from experience that live bait can be tough to keep healthy. I would recommend using a bait aerator this season and keep more bait alive. Many different companies produce aerators that are small and clip onto the side of your bait bucket. They will run usually on (C) or (D) batteries, typically two batteries are needed. The Lureandtackle.com staff have used the Frabill aerator pictured above, and has been pleased with the long battery life. So if your fishing  especially when it’s hot, you need to keep that oxygen in the water and keep the water moving. Aerators also work great for ice fishing, keeping oxygen levels up and stopping ice from forming in your bait bucket. You can find a selection of aerator available here in our Fishing Store. Keep that bait healthy, and good luck out there.

Happy fishing from,
